Things to do

Attended my nephew’s wedding at Poplar Springs. The wedding was outdoor and such a beautiful setting – so serene and romantic! The cocktail food and reception food was delicious. The manor house is splendid, all stone built in the 1920’s and very rustic elegant. We stayed overnight and our room was very large, clean, and bed and pillows comfy! The next morning we enjoyed their brunch was equally good – lots of choices – the red velvet waffle was my favorite! The owner came to our table to see how everything was – very nice gentleman. We will definitely be back soon! I have only one suggestion and that is to increase the ladies room facility in the manor house – would be helpful for large events!

Peace and quiet with great food. There was a hand written welcome/thank you card in the room when we arrived. The spa was very relaxing with friendly staff. Fire place at the bar with a great bartender named Cory Thatcher. Not to mention there’s complementary breakfast in bed.
This place is searching for greatness and they are well on their way. We will have too see you again.

Thanks again to all of the great staff on the scene and behind the scenes.

My lovely new daughter in-law and her family chose Poplar Springs as the wedding venue, where my son and her would have their wedding and reception. Everyone loved the venue, food and raved about how nice the rooms were. Highly recommend Poplar Springs as a wedding venue or or for any other type of event or also as just a nice get away. Prices are reasonable, and the staff was very accommodating.

We will be back.

My husband and I visited the Manor House for the Sunday Brunch The service was wonderful (Shelby, Jes & Sam) and the food was delicious. Plenty of choices to choose from and the atmosphere was breath taking. Very relaxing. After this brunch a nap was needed. We checked into our suite. It was very lovely. We first were greeted by Linda then later Cheryl. The spa looked inviting however I just decided to try the salt water pool. That was so relaxing. Back to the suite showered and dressed into my roaring 20’s attire for the Murder Mystery. The meal was absolutely delicious and was served in perfect sequence The other patrons were fun to talk to. It was a great experience and would recommend you to visit the Manor House and the Inn !!

Had an amazing weekend away. The meals at the manor were delicious, the spa was so relaxing and the bar was a great time. The staff made the stay even better and took great care of the bf and I. The bartender Corey was on point! Make sure to see him and show some love!
